Satzmedia improves from rank 120 to 101 at the New Media Service Ranking 2007. Thus, the agency publicly proves its organic and solid growth in this year as well.

The Hagen based perfumery chain Douglas continues its internationalization online, too. The Content Administration Tool, developed by Satzmedia and responsible for the administration and control of the advertising platforms, is extended for this reason.

In this summer, Satzmedia hires additional employees, thus creating the need for new office spaces. In doing so, however, Satzmedia remains loyal to its creative surroundings in the heart of the suburb of Altona, moving only a few hundred meters and into a completely new designed office-loft situated directly next to the Altona train station and pedestrian zone.

High quality offers and a great variety of sportsware, as well as classics by Kettler such as running wheels, Kettcars or tricycles are distributed by Hagen based company Sportco. The equipper, specialized predominantly on schools, sport complexes but also consumers now also offers its product range online. Its extensive catalog is presented in an interactive version at www.sportco.de as well.

Our longtime customer, jeweller chain Christ, chose a new service provider in the logistics department. The adaptation of its Onlineshop at www.christ.de, which was realized by Satzmedia years ago, and all related interfaces and applications are implemented in close contact with the new logistics provider.

This year, the 1000th catalog is created via the Catalog-Tool for the automated creation of interactive catalogs. This remarkable number is further evidence for the high practicability and user-friendliness of this software made by Satzmedia Catalog GmbH.

At the German mail-order congress in Wiesbaden, the online fashion-catalog "brandneu" of Hamburg based OTTO concern, which has already been produced for the 4th time, is chosen as the best B2C-Catalog of the year.

From now on, multimedia elements such as video clips, audio samples or large amounts of texts or images can be implemented into interactive catalogs. Additionally, the zoom-functions of the Flash-variant are extended substantially.

At the end of the year, our first trainee graduates with excellent results as IT specialist and because of the outstanding abilities she acquired while working for us, is taken over by Satzmedia. Additional trainees will begin their training at Satzmedia by February 2008.

In the course of standardization and the recurrent demands of our customers to our software, a new company is founded-the Satzmedia Softwareentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (software development corporation). This will develop a new java-based framework based on the latest technology, which will be used for our future projects. In the medium term, this software is supposed to be sold to third parties under license as well.

Due to the favorable order situation, 13 employees belong to Satzmedia at the end of the year. Half of them are software-developers, resembling the company's technical competence. The turnover has increased and Satzmedia finishes this year with a profit again.
Satzmedia jumps from place 175 to 120 in the New Media Service Ranking, issued yearly by the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft BVDW (German Association of Digital Economy) together with the specialty media Hightext-Publishing, Horizont and W&V. It places 6th in the category 'fastest growing agency'.
